Mazak Mazatrol Fusion 640m- FH6000 – Alarm 391
I know this is a lame answer, but you should call your local mazak tech center. www.mazakusa.com should be able to locate the right office for your geography.
Some recent and current Mazaks have a few thermo couples around the machine that are feeding some complex algorythms to make the machine more accurate as parts of the machine are changing temperature.
go for the simple stuff first, but you may have a broken wire to a thermo couple to cause this alarm?
There is a possibility that a parameter can turn off this alarm until you can get the problem attended to.
thermo comp on Mazaks is rocket scientist domain.
I finally was able to get through to someone at Mazak.
What triggers the 391 Alarm is from a multiple possibilities,
thou to get back up and running, you need to reset Words R4630 to R4639
back to ‘0’, by writing to these under the Diagnositics Monitor screen.
Cause still unknow, speaking with some co-worker from other facilities, they believe it maybe from line power loss, for example from an electrical storm.
But our location has also been know to power interuptions from our hydro supply company.
Integrex 100 / Mazatrol Fusion 640mt – Alarm 22 Feedback System Malfunction
22 Feedback System Malfunction (5,0,&0025)”
According to the manual for Alarm 22 ( , , 25):
Cause This alarm implies decreases in the voltage of the backup battery for the absolute position data detection circuit of the control card.
Action Re-homing is required since the absolute position data may have been lost. Replace the battery.
Although, the machine is dead in the water with this alarm displaying. It will not home, it will not move/jog, it will not clear.
I have an integrex 200sy that has this problem on the x axis. The encoder on the servo motor has a little bit of moisture inside it, so when the machine starts up the disk is fogged up and it can’t tell whats happening. If you watch the screen, the numbers for the axis that is making trouble change and the motor is not moving. If I turn the ball screw with it Estopped and powered on it will clear up. Make sure that you don’t go inside the machine with the power on. Mine will get a new encoder soon. It could be a bad encoder, bad drive, or bad encoder wire but I have seen two that had moisture.
